WHAT: Free Community Conference hosted by GOFISH  Coalition
GO FISH invites all fishermen,  fishing industry businesses and their families affected by the BP Oil Spill  Disaster Settlement: Economic Losses and Compensation, to attend, express  concerns, and receive answers to help individuals, families, and small  businesses make the best informed decision regarding their  offers.
There will be informational  panels on the following topics:
1) BP Economic Settlement:  Pro’s & Con’s
2) Basin Specific Impact to the  Fisheries & Fishermen: From the Perspective of the  Fishermen
3) Impact to the Fisheries & to the Community
Gulf Organized Fisheries in  Solidarity & Hope (GO FISH) is a seafood industry coalition formed in  reaction to the unprecedented challenges faced by commercial fishermen of all  fisheries as a consequence of the Deepwater Horizon oil spill. GO FISH’s mission  is to assure the fair treatment of fishermen and supporting industries, the real  restoration of damage to our traditional fishing grounds, and preservation of  our resource-based coastal way of life.
